David Filer

has published Housekeeping, a chapbook of sonnets (Finishing Line Press, 2012) and The Fear of Love, a full–length collection (Plain View Press, 2012). The poem “Glimpse” is one of a series of poems written while his wife Marlene Anderson was away on the coast of Kenya tending to the business of The Imani Project. He lives in Portland, Oregon.
