Alan Craddock
Alan Craddock: After a career as a British military Engineer which are known as “Sappers” over here, I found myself working in many different countries doing humanitarian work clearing land mines. Last year I worked in Ukraine. Below ground, in a Ukrainian bomb shelter I found poetry was a way to relax and pass the hours. I created poetry across the spectrum of war, people and politics. Back home now. These days, I’m discovering new hobbies for my physical and mental wellbeing like fly fishing, cooking and Jiu Jitsu.
