Justin Patrick Moore

his poetry has appeared in Silk Milk and Milk Money magazines and the essay “The Library Angel and Her Oracle” was published in issue 4 of Abraxas: International Journal of Esoteric Studies.  He recently ended a 13-year-long love affair as the host of a community radio show to add further fuel to my writing efforts.

Wesley McNair

is the author of 20 books, including, My Brother Running, which connects his brother’s fatal heart attack with the explosion of the Challenger shuttle, and The Words I Chose: A Memoir of Family and Poetry, which delves into the personal hardships he endured: his father abandoning the family on a Christmas eve, an abusive stepfather, and the difficulties of raising his own family while finding his poetic voice.  In addition to his poetry, he has also edited seven anthologies, three of which celebrate the renaissance in Maine writing in the last 20 years.

Kendall Merriam

was born and raised in Rockland, Maine. He has a history degree from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts and graduate studies in military and maritime history at the University of Maine at Orono and Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Connecticut.  His work has appeared in, Katyn W Literaturze (Katyn in Literature), a Polish anthology of literary works about the WWII Katyn Forest Massacre by 120 international authors, including Czeslaw Milosz.  He has written more than twenty books and plays.  On April 29, 2010, he was appointed Rockland, Maine’s inaugural Poet Laureate, an honor from the hometown he cherishes.
