John Gian

Poet and painter John Gian lives in Venezia, where, with Franco Beltrametti he organized the 1976 poetry event “P76,” which initiated an influential series of poetry events in Amsterdam and elsewhere. He began and published Supernova books for years with fellow Venetian, Armando Pajalich.
Stefan Hyner

Poet, calligrapher, and translator, Stefan Hyner has lived in Cornwall, Taiwan, Maine, and California, lives now on the banks of the Rhine. He authored the first biography of Rainer Maria Gerhardt, and edited Home Among the Singing Stars, the collected poems of Jaime de Angulo. He is now working on an American “Collected Poems of Franco Beltrametti.”
Duncan McNaughton

Duncan McNaughton, once a student of Charles Olson, has himself been published widely in the US and Europe. He now lives in San Francisco — where he taught for years at New College — and in Bolinas. His translations include works by Italian poet Dario Villa.
