Paul Minotto
Paul Minotto: is “trained” as a musician but makes paintings, designs buildings, and writes poetry, not in that order. He lives on an avocado orchard in the mountains of southern California where the silence is so profound you can hear reality unfolding before you. His most recent pictures are composed in the digital realm. Parts of oil paintings, pencil and / or pen drawings are brought into a photo editing program where they are altered to create a final picture. The 2 paintings here are from The Last Judgement, a series of portraits created from various figures taken from Michelangelo’s fresco.
Krista Luttrell
Krista Luttrell: is a native of Portland, Maine. She is married to a drummer and is a mother of four beautiful and brave daughters. While she has no formal art training, she has been immersed in various forms of arts, crafts, and sketching all her life. In recent years, she has put her creative energy into oil painting and weaving. Each piece of work represents aspects of the natural environment, interconnections, life on the edge, is inspired by place and space, the profound mother–child bond, and her passion for Irish history, folklore, and mythology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maine Presque Isle with a B.A. degree in History and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in History. Formerly, she’s been a Local History Researcher, specializing in Irish family history for over 25 years. Her artwork has been featured in The Café Review, in local galleries, and is held in private collections.
