Bill Cass

Bill Cass: received a BFA degree from the University of Illinois, ChampaignUrbana in 1977, followed by an MFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1981. He has been a visiting artist at the Art Institute of Chicago since 1982 and a fulltime lecturer in Northwestern University’s Department of Art Theory and Practice. He won a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and three awards from the Illinois Arts Council for his work, which combines religious imagery and a folk art style. His work is represented in the collections of several museums, including the Krannert Art Center in Champaign, Illinois and the Madison Art Center in Wisconsin. He is currently a fulltime printmaking teacher at the New Hampshire Institute of Art, Manchester.

John Yau

John Yau has published books of poetry, fiction, and criticism. His latest poetry publications include a book of poems, Further Adventures in Monochrome (Copper Canyon Press, 2012) and the chapbook, Egyptian Sonnets (Rain Taxi, 2012). His most recent monographs are Catherine Murphy (Rizzoli, 2016), and Richard Artschwager: Into the Desert (Black Dog Publishing, 2015). He has also written monographs on A.R. Penck, Jasper Johns, and Andy Warhol. In 1999, he started Black Square Editions, a small press devoted to poetry, fiction, translation, and criticism. He was the Arts Editor for the Brooklyn Rail (2007–2011) before he began writing regularly for Hyperallergic Weekend. He received his BA from Bard College and MFA from Brooklyn College. In 1992, he was a visiting poet at Brown University and in 1994 and 1995, was a visiting professor at University of California, Berkeley. He is a Professor of Critical Studies at Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University).

Peter Lamborn Wilson

Peter Lamborn Wilson (aka anarchist Hakim Bey) is a poet and scholar whose his many books, manifestos, and broadsides include Spiritual Destinations of an Anarchist, Ec(o)logues, and Riverpeople, (an epic poem about the Esopus river). His new books are The Temple of Perseus at Panopolis, False Documents, and Opium Dens I Have Known (a second text included is My Summer Vacation in Afghanistan) with artwork by Brooklyn artist Chris Martin.
