Nguyen Binh Phuong
Nguyen Binh Phuong’s: real name is Nguyen Van Binh. He was born in 1965 in Thai Nguyen, eighty kilometers north of Ha Noi. He has written both poetry and prose since the 1990s. He is the editor-in-chief of the Van Nghe Quan Doi, a magazine specializing in literature. He has published six novels including The Young Die Old and I and They, and five collections of poetry including Nonchalant Fishing. He won the Hanoi Writers Association Prize twice, first for Nonchalant Fishing, and second for I and They. His works have been translated into English and French.
