Why could I not hold you

by Do Mai Hoa

Long hair to cling
sweet lips to kiss
soft hands to tie
and erotic eyes to pull you back
why could I not hold you!

Is my hair not soft enough
and lips not as sweet as your desire
and my eyes….
not erotic at all?

You pulled me back with your eyes and held me tight
why push me out by force of your filling arms
looking at the “need triangle” of Maslow
find a tiny piece of me at the bottom of the triangle

Where I am in yours?
or just simply your imagination
stars imagination…
whether the stars, together with you, fly around my universe?
