Matt Grubb: is a 22 – year – old post graduate living in Farmington New Hampshire, but frequents the Portsmouth and Dover art venues. His work is fueled by a reverent respect of greats such as Jean – Michele Basquiat and Alberto Giacometti. His use of urgency in application and lack of delicacy communicates a debased yet precise analysis of portraiture and a multitude of impressionist subjects. Absence of “Old Master” refinery empowers the media to fill in the gaps of perception. Though his first love is within fine art, he is also an avid graffiti and public guerilla artist under an undisclosed pseudonym.
