Gibson Fay-LeBlanc
Gibson Fay-LeBlanc: his first collection of poems, Death of a Ventriloquist, was chosen by Lisa Russ Spaar for the Vassar Miller Prize and published in 2012. The book was featured by Poets & Writers as one of a dozen debut collections to watch. His poems have appeared in magazines including Guernica, The New Republic, Tin House, jubilat, FIELD, and The Literary Review.
Robert Farnsworth
Robert Farnsworth: recently retired from teaching writing and literature at Bates College. His poetry has appeared in magazines in the US, Canada, and the UK. His collections are, with Wesleyan University Press: Three or Four Hills and A Cloud (1982), Honest Water (1989), and most recently, Rumored Islands (2010) with Harbor Mountain Press.
Tom Fallon
Tom Fallon: known for literary experiment, has published Pregnant Man 1, Through A Stranger’s Eyes, NOW, A Dying Animal staged by Atma Theatre in Boston, with writing in various literary journals. He presented the first performance art in Maine and was a member of the original Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance.
Kathleen Ellis
Kathleen Ellis: grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and migrated to Maine in 1977. She is the author of five poetry collections, most recently Outer–Body Travel. Poems from her manuscript, Dear Darwin, were set to music and released as a Parma Recordings CD, which was nominated for a 2015 Grammy Award. A recipient of poetry fellowships from the NEA and the Maine Arts Commission, she teaches creative writing and literature at the University of Maine in Orono.
