Gerry Cambridge
Gerry Cambridge: is a poet, essayist, editor, and harmonica player with substantial interest in print design and typography as well as a background in natural history photography. His most recent book of poems is Notes for Lighting a Fire (HappenStance Press, 2012), which the TLS said ‘has something of Robert Frost’s tone and seriousness, but rings with a deeply personal Scottish resonance all its own’. Since 1994, he has published and edited The Dark Horse, a transatlantic poetry magazine with an international reputation.
Ron Butlin
Ron Butlin: as well as being a poet, has an international reputation as a prize–winning novelist. He is a former Edinburgh Makar / Poet–laureate. He has published ten collections of poetry including two books for young children.
Henry Bell
Henry Bell: is a writer and editor from Bristol, working in poetry and theatre. He lives on the Southside of Glasgow and edits Gutter Magazine. He was a ‘Clydebuilt’ poet and has edited books including A Bird is Not a Stone. You can find out more at henryjimbell.com
Patricia Ace
Patricia Ace: has published First Blood (HappenStance Press, 2006) and Fabulous Beast (Freight Books, 2013). Recent work appears in the anthologies Be the First to Like This: New Scottish Poetry (Vagabond Voices, 2014), Hallelujah for 50ft Women (Bloodaxe, 2015), Umbrellas of Edinburgh (Freight Books, 2016) and Writing Motherhood (Seren, 2017). She is working on a second collection concerning her mother’s family history in Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago. She lives in Crieff, Scotland with her husband, has two grown–up daughters, and works as a yoga teacher.
