Patricia Ace

Patricia Ace:  has published First Blood (HappenStance Press, 2006) and Fabulous Beast (Freight Books, 2013). Recent work appears in the anthologies Be the First to Like This: New Scottish Poetry (Vagabond Voices, 2014), Hallelujah for 50ft Women (Bloodaxe, 2015), Umbrellas of Edinburgh (Freight Books, 2016) and Writing Motherhood (Seren, 2017). She is working on a second collection concerning her mother’s family history in Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago. She lives in Crieff, Scotland with her husband, has two grown–up daughters, and works as a yoga teacher.
