George V. Van Deventer

George V. Van Deventer:  has published in several journals and served as editor (2001–2007) of Off the Coast, the Journal of the Live Poets Society.  From 1990–1997, he was Executive Director of the Live Poets Society of Maine and worked extensively in the public school system developing and delivering poetry workshops for elementary school children.  In 2007, three of his poems, set to music by Terence Deadman, were performed at the annual music festival in Brighton, England.
