Oleg Vassilev

Oleg Vassilev:  (1931–2013) is considered to be one of the best Russian painters of his generation.  Vassiliev relocated to New York from Moscow around 1990 and later to Minnesota.  He worked as a children’s book illustrator to support himself and participated with his friends Erik Bulatov and Ilia Kabakov in the Nonconformist Art movement.
