Robert Branaman

Robert Branaman: in the late 50s and early 60s, a painter, print maker, poet, and film maker, he was part of the Beat Generation and a group called the Rat Bastard Protective Association of the Wichita Vortex. These artists showed works in the influential Batman Gallery in San Francisco. He regularly exhibits his work in shows in the Los Angeles area. His artwork and films are held in private collections and in the collections of major institutions in the United States. He is currently the Artist in Residence at Beyond Baroque in Venice, California and is still painting.
