Karen Jelenfy

Karen Jelenfy: is a painter, writer and educator who lives and works in her studio in Washington, Maine. Working across several mediums over more than 40 years, she has produced a large body of work that focuses on her immediate environment and the social “weather” (as she calls it). Her recent work is a personal response to the climate crisis.
