Dreaming is a Big Mistake
by Valery Oisteanu
Prisoners locked in a painter’s studio no windows
with an angel glued to the wall
Music resides his organs, his wings
Colors beyond human spectrum of perception
Colors of sexual deviation, exaltation
We dream at the finish of the colors
Where they dissolve, blue into total darkness
And the whiter veils get lighter & brighter
We escape through the eye of a gargoyle
Bewildered screaming endlessly
“Stop the abuse of painting models!”
Says the perturbed mathematician
As the sacrificed phantom deliriously
then oneiric objects of infinity
The difficult mental state between the legs
Brings sadness of the long nudes, scarf around the neck
Crooked deep mouth, unattributed conversation
The blast of wind against the lighthouse
With strobe lights illuminating ribs
Urchins singing on the cliffs,
needlessly glowing, depriving us of night
