An Wanmei
An Wanmei: (b.1964) nicknamed Little An. She studied medicine and has worked as a nurse for over 30 years. She began writing poetry in 1985, as well as novels. Collections of her poetry include, The Woman Who Plants Tobacco and Waiting for the Drinker. A collection of her short stories is titled We’re a Mental Hospital.
Li Wanfeng
Li Wanfeng: (b.1989), poet and art critic from in Nanxi, Sichuan. Poetry collections include Peach Blossom and Enlightenment. He now lives in Chengdu.
Yi Sha
Yi Sha: (b.1966), in Chengdu, Sichuan, with Han and Kazakh heritages. Lives and teaches in Xi’an. Poet, writer, critic, and editor. Has published many books of poetry, novels, and essays, including Starve the Poet, Stutter, Train Passing the Yellow River, Song of Bastard, and many others. His work has been translated in English, German, Hebrew, and Japanese. He’s known as China’s Allen Ginsberg, for his rebellious writing.
Han Qing
Han Qing: poet, translator, film maker, assistant professor in Nanjing Film Institute.
