Maxine Chemoff

Maxine Chemoff has published 19 books of poetry and six works of fiction. She won an NEA in poetry and the PEN Translation Award for co-translating the work of Friedrich Hoelderlin. A guest at Exeter University in England and a visiting writer at the American Academy in Rome, she is an emeritus chair of Creative Writing at SFSU.
