Jessica George
Jessica George is a multi disciplinary artist who reads and writes to reconcile her lived experience with a future balance. Her recent print edition, “Adaptation / Adaptacion“, is written with numerous methods: Memoir, political reflection, spiritual meditation, manifesto, lyric poetry and wood block carving + printing are all organized to create a hand held object. Jessica’s practice considers that each of us has to weigh our individuality with the collective. She works in hospitality, most recently as a social media and music booking manager. In the winter of 2025 she received a fellowship from the agricultural non profit, The Greenhorns. With their support she generated a series of oil paintings on the Pennamaquan River. She shows her painting annually at the GEM Gallery on Peaks Island, ME.
